We hope that everyone had fun and relaxing spring break! Gulf Coast Specimen Marine Lab! We finally got to enjoy our in school field trip! The kids had an absolute blast holding, poking, and learning about marine life of the Gulf. Check below for pictures! **Field Day** We are happy to announce that SASC's first Field Day will be held on March 31st at Optimist Park What? We are going to Optimist for SASC Field Day When? Friday, March 31st; Classes will begin leaving at 9:15. All classes will be back at school by 1:30 How? We are traveling by bus. Volunteers will meet us at Optimist Park. How much? Coming soon (calculating bus fees) Where? Optimist Park Why? This field trip supports health and PE standards. It is also a school-wide community building event. April 9th - Conscious Discipline Workshop 3 April 14th - The Helpful Forest Hosts FRIDAY SING May 29th - Memorial Day Holiday - No School May 30th - Last day of School Literacy Update: This week we have mixed up the reading groups to better serve each student's needs. The Publisher and Printer groups are working on Readers Theater, stay tuned for Friday Sing dates! Math Update: Artists - composing and decomposing 10. Scientists - adding double digit numbers in a variety of ways. Theme: We are getting back into the school routine and will pick up with Matter next week.
